Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

  • Support patient mobility: repositioning, transferring, and ambulation using appropriate techniques and equipment.

  • Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).

  • Monitor and report physical or emotional changes/concerns to the supervising nurse.

  • Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Clinical Support

  • Assist with basic clinical procedures as directed (e.g., specimen collection, glucose monitoring).

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in electronic or paper systems.

  • Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.

  • Prepare, clean, and maintain patient rooms, equipment, and supplies.

Patient Comfort & Safety

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.

  • Maintain a safe environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.

  • Respect patient dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences.
