SYSTRA India's comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge (Building a new rail link, doubling the capacity, gauge conversion, upgrading a network, improving the performance of existing lines, etc.).

Our extensive experience encompasses, Bridges, station buildings, Depots, Earthwork & Track Works, Power Supply and Transmission, Signaling & Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc.

Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro Projects across India. The position of Chief Structure Expert (Elevated) is the key position in these BIDs

Missions/Main Duties
  • Oversee and guide the structural design, analysis, and construction of elevated viaducts, bridges, and related infrastructure for urban rail systems.
  • Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and clients for smooth execution of structural works.
  • Provide technical leadership and resolve complex structural issues during design and construction phases.
  • Monitor construction quality, supervise site works, and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and structural teams with best industry practices
Profile/Skills

Education:

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering and post-graduation in structures

Experience:

  • 25 years experience in railways / railways related industry
  • at least 5 years in urban rail-based passenger carrying systems.
