Our extensive experience encompasses, Bridges, station buildings, Depots, Earthwork & Track Works, Power Supply and Transmission, Signaling & Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc.

Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of iii) Chief Structure Expert (Underground) is the key position in these BIDs

Missions/Main Duties
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design, review, and execution of underground rail/metro structures, including tunnels, underground stations, and ancillary works.
  • Oversee structural analysis, design validation, and approval of construction drawings for underground structures.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in underground structural engineering.
  • Review and approve construction methods, temporary works, and support systems specific to underground works (e.g., tunnel lining, waterproofing, ground stabilization).
  • Address and resolve complex technical issues related to design and construction of underground structures, including those arising from geotechnical and hydrogeological conditions.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as geotechnical, MEP, and architectural experts to ensure integrated and robust underground designs.
  • Lead the assessment of structural safety, durability, and integrity for all underground project components.
  • Monitor QA/QC processes throughout design and construction phases for all underground works.
  • Advise clients and project management on technical risks and risk mitigation strategies specific to underground construction.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior structural engineers and the project team.
Profile/Skills

Education:

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering and post-graduation in structures

Experience:

  • 25 years expereince in Railways/Metro

Specific Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in urban rail based passenger carryingsystem
