Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage ad sales operations from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell existing clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., editorial, production) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry.

Evaluate client needs and generate business through solution driven approach.

Actively seek out new sales opportunities. Develop clients (existing & potential) for Business Growth.

Negotiate / close deals, facilitate documents requirements and ensure proper handover to the operations team.

Own and exceed annual sales targets year-on-year. Increasing the volume market share.

Identifying new business opportunities from the untapped market sections; further developing the new market in given segment, complete track of special days.

Interacting with ad agencies on a regular basis to finalize the big deals.

Keep track on missing and action plan.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

Prepare and update client card for all key clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3-7 years of experience in B2B Sales or Media Sales, preferably in Print & Digital media.
  • Strong understanding of Advertising concepts and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Excellent Field Sales skills with a proven track record of meeting targets.
  • Should have an exposure of sales in Media/Telecom/Insurance/Banking/FMCG .
  • Understanding of Sales Number.
  • Good business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Good negotiation and presentation skills.
