Job Purpose

To ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements, thereby maintaining product safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Control

  • Inspect incoming raw materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct in-process checks to ensure adherence to production standards.
  • Perform quality inspection of finished goods before release.
  • Carry out routine sampling and testing as per quality protocols.

2. Hygiene & Safety Monitoring

  • Monitor workplace hygiene and sanitation practices across production areas.
  • Ensure all staff follow PPE and hygiene requirements.
  • Coordinate with pest control service providers and maintain related records.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of quality checks, test results, and non-conformance reports.
  • Prepare and submit regular QC reports to management.
  • Ensure traceability of products through proper batch coding and documentation.

4. Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI standards and company SOPs.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Stay updated on relevant food safety regulations and quality norms.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify recurring quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
  • Work with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
  • Support training initiatives for staff on quality and hygiene practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 1–3 years' experience in food production QC preferred.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems and food safety standards.
  • Good observation skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer knowledge for report preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13, ₹19,000.00 per month
