Warehousing & Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehousing & Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sourcing, import, and warehousing management principles.

About the Role:
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in procurement practices and governance to utilize their skills and expertise to drive business results.
  • The successful candidate will play a vital role in banking device procurement, import, and warehousing & inventory control management, requiring collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate market offerings to meet user requirements and compare available goods/services with industry trends for pricing decisions.
  2. Finalize vendors and costs through RFP processes, considering user needs and techno-commercial evaluations.
  3. Support users and legal functions for contract execution from a supply chain management perspective.
  4. Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing & inventory control for all banking products/devices.
  5. Coordinate with user functions to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories through proper planning and ordering management.
  6. Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, maintaining trackers and repositories.
  7. Pursue cost savings through contract negotiations with partners/agencies.
  8. Ensure timely agreement renewals and coordinate imports shipments end-to-end, working with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs departments.
  9. Engage with user functions to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing, & inventory, and imports.
  10. Coordinate with operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.
  11. Regularly coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and collect inventory reports daily.
  12. Prepare and publish daily inventory reports for all products.
  13. Support data analysis for monthly procurement reports.
Requirements:
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import, and warehousing & inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
Qualifications:
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and prioritize workloads to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
