Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate & up-to-date financial records, including record of transactions, posting journal entries & reconciling accounts in compliance with US GAAP
  • Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing vendor invoices, and monitoring customer payments
  • Ensure the proper organization of data and on time reports preparation
  • Utilize financial software and systems to efficiently perform accounting tasks
  • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting
  • Provide financial advice & guidance to management, contributing to strategic decisionmaking
  • Adhere to company's procedures & policies to complete assigned tasks promptly & effectively
  • Training of new team member and supervise others in task allocation, ensuring timely delivery of work
  • Confident to deal and coordinate with clients directly and able to communicate the issues and deliverables as per client's expectations
  • Assurance to check emails and respond it timely by prioritizing it in the best possible way
  • Manage and secure the documents as per the suggested specific folders smartly

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Understanding of advanced MS Excel & Google sheets
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, sales taxes, reconciliations, etc
  • Must be from Commerce Background (B. Com, M. Com, MBA Finance & CA Dropout)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience working on US accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll activities in US GAAP
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US accounting practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems.
