We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager

Business: Regulatory Reporting - RWA Analytics

Prinicipal responsibilities:

Data Management & Actuals Reporting

Understand the RWA source inputs from various risk type teams including the RCT systemProcess and finalize the group RWA reporting in TM1 through standard inputs and other required adjustments.Prepare monthly and quarterly MI reports for Global Businesses on RWA movementsAnalysis of periodic RWA movements and identification of key drivers.Perform Market Treasury allocation process requiring co-ordination with teams for inputs and processing.Validations and review of quarterly HSBC external reporting covering RWA details by GB/Entities/Risk type/Flow, etcNavigation and data retrievals from TM1 and RCT systems to support investigations or any adhoc requests.Capability to understand, analyse and interpret the data from the reporting and regulatory perspective.

Planning and Forecast Support

Support Corporate Centre for their RWA forecast and planning which includes preparations of estimations, TM1 submissions and analyses of movements.Support Group SPST team for requirements on RWA adjustments relating to journals processing or system administration.Co-ordinate between group and global businesses for any adhoc planning related requirements.

Improvements and Operational Effectiveness

Continuous review of process with the objective of improving the efficiencies and enhancing the controls.Develop and implement automation of the activities through usage of tools such as Python / Macro / Qlik, etc and engaging with DET team wherever required. Support the implementation and testing's for change projects like Mimosa, Basel 3.1, etc. and other ongoing changes for TM1 reporting. Be well versed with the key requirements of Risk & Control framework in the process.Continually assess the operational risks inherent in the processes, taking account of changing operating procedures, legal and regulatory requirements, management restructures, and the impact of new technology.Ensure all processes are correctly and thoroughly documented (SOPs, EUC, Controls, etc )

Qualification:

B.Com/ M.com/M.B A/ Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant)/ CWA / Semi Qualified CA or CWA / MBA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience or commerce graduates with at least 5+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting tools, including hands-on experience in financial reporting, review and analysis.Knowledge and hands on exposure of Financial Systems like TM1 and RCT will be an added advantage.Working knowledge of MS Excel, Qlik and other group communications tools like outlook, MS teams, etc.Good communication and ability to interact independently with multiple stakeholders across finance , change and IT teams.Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements – this may include working outside of normal hours.Must have excellent attention to detail and work within tight timelines ensuring a complete and accurate flow of information's between stakeholders.
