Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Backend Developer with 3–4 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. You'll be working on backend services, RESTful APIs, and database integration to support modern web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java (8/11 ) and Spring Boot
  • Design and implement microservices with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Create and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems
  • Integrate with relational databases using Hibernate/JPA
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data access and manipulation
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across environments
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment
  • Use Git for version control and branching strategies in collaborative environments

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of professional experience as a Java Backend Developer
  • Strong programming skills in Java (Java 8 or 11 )
  • Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture and design principles
  • Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM-based persistence
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build tools like Maven or Gradle
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Docker or containerized environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
