Job Purpose:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring, measuring, and verifying product quality during different stages of production. This role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines to maintain consistent product quality and minimize defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.) for inspection.
  • Document inspection results and prepare detailed quality reports.
  • Identify non-conformities and communicate findings to production/engineering teams.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain calibration records and ensure measuring instruments are in good condition.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits).
  • Ensure proper handling and segregation of non-conforming materials.
  • Continuously suggest improvements to enhance quality processes.
