Role Overview

We're looking for a Content Strategist who thrives in the creator economy and knows what it takes to keep artists relevant, exciting, and ahead of the curve. This role sits at the heart of OML's Artist Management team, working with a diverse roster of comedians, musicians, and creators across beauty, travel, lifestyle, and food.

If the idea of launching a new IP on YouTube or Instagram gives you an adrenaline rush, if you can spot the next content trend before it blows up, and if you're obsessed with how creators can build long-term brands—this role is for you.


Key responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Roadmaps

    • Build long-term content roadmaps for artists across categories (comedy, music, lifestyle, beauty, travel, food).

    • Ensure each artist's content aligns with their brand identity and growth trajectory.

  • IP Development

    • Conceptualize, pitch, and execute original content IPs for YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms.

    • Stay on top of global and local creator-led formats and adapt them for OML's roster.

  • Trendspotting & Research

    • Track industry trends, algorithm shifts, and creator economy updates.

    • Identify new formats, collaborations, and content opportunities that keep artists relevant.

  • Collaboration & Execution

    • Work closely with content specialists, managers, and artists to ensure strategies turn into great content.

    • Partner with internal and external teams (production, brand solutions, partnerships) to bring ideas to life.

  • Performance & Growth

    • Analyze performance of artist content and IPs.

    • Iterate on strategy to drive engagement, reach, and audience growth.


Skills  and Prior Experience:

  • Experience: 5-6 years in content strategy, creative strategy, or social media in the creator economy, digital media, or entertainment.

  • Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and emerging social platforms—algorithms, formats, and monetization opportunities.

  • Creative Drive: You live and breathe creator content. It excites you to develop fresh formats and IPs that audiences want to binge.

  • Cultural Radar: You're on top of internet culture, memes, trends, and shifts in the creator economy.

  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with artists and internal teams, turning insights into actionable creative strategies.

  • Analytical Edge: Comfort with metrics, performance analysis, and insights-driven decision making.
