- The Impact you will have in this role: 

Being a member of Digital Enablement team you will develop highly scalable and efficient automation solutions using combination of latest technology stack like Low Code No Code, data manipulation and Analytics tools etc along with legacy technologies for internal and external DTCC consumers.

This role requires close coordination with multiple geographically dispersed groups (Business partners, Subject Matter Experts, Senior Technologists, Analysts as well as infrastructure teams) across the enterprise to implement automated solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of 5-10 developers delivering automated solutions in Appian as the chosen low code no code platform.
- Drives an Agile delivery team that builds high quality and scalable work products based on in depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Supports multiple production application releases and maintenance windows as needed working with the Operations team
- Develops trusted partnerships with internal clients and other stakeholders
- Applies understanding of how automation tools can drive improved risk & resiliency, client experience and efficiency in solving business problems
- Ensures policies and procedures are maintained and stay aligned to changing risk and control landscape
- Balances the teams automation delivery with timely response to Regulatory requests
- Identifies and reports on End User Computing Applications (EUCAs) and adhere to model validation requirements
- Collaborates with Business Architects to determine how automation can enable reimagined future-state processes
- Secures and manage automation budgets
- Researches and evaluates new technologies to drive innovation and adoption of new automation tools.
- Contributes to the strategy development and execution of a multi-year plan for DTCCs process automation program
- Creates and delivers strategic presentations on broad topics (related to automation) and produce thought leadership to increase organizational and client awareness
- Support the organization in building and growing the talent required to enhance existing automation platforms
- Establishes metrics and manages team based on data with a continuous improvement mindset

- Qualifications:
- L1, L2 Certification in Appian
- Talents Needed for Success:
- 10+ years of experience managing high performing automation teams in the financial sector
- Ability to design end to end solution using workflow tools like Appian with multiple integration touchpoints (web applications, mainframe layers and desktop apps)
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns and their impact on automation solutions
- Proficient in architecting scalable, high-performance Appian solutions that meets business objectives.
- Skilled in creating and managing Appian objects such as SAIL interfaces, process models, records, rules, and decision logic, with strong debugging capabilities.
- Involved in multiple areas of Appian development including workflows, SAIL interfaces, process models, records, sites, reports, rules, and AI Skills.
- Experience in building basic task and process reports to support business and operational monitoring.
- Strong experience in integrating Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RESTful services, Appian Connected Systems, and custom plug-ins.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS (SQL/Oracle), integration with Appian.
- This role requires leading an Appian team (50%) along with hands-on application development (50%).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering technical details to a non-technical audience
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience working in distributed teams.
- Experience with process improvement methods.
- The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
