We are Hiring General Manager-MEP for MP Developers located at Pallavaram, Chennai

JOB DESCRIPTION

To leads the design, execution, and management of building services for projects, ensuring systems like HVAC, power, fire safety, and plumbing meet quality, budget, and timelines through strong coordination with architects, contractors, and stakeholders, driving energy efficiency, technical excellence, commissioning, and compliance for large-scale residential/commercial developments.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop MEP strategies, drive innovation, champion green building practices (LEED), and mentor teams.
  • Project Execution: Oversee MEP lifecycle (concept to handover), manage GFC drawings, BOQs, value engineering, and site execution.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure compliance with codes, manage HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV, and IBMS systems, quality control, and commissioning.
  • Budget & Contracts: Prepare budgets, control costs, manage contracts with consultants/vendors, and oversee procurement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with design, procurement, finance, and external agencies (utilities, consultants).
  • Compliance & Approvals: Manage NOCs, load sanctions, and adherence to safety (HSE) and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports, technical documentation, and MIS to senior management.
