Senior Salesforce QA (Quality Assurance)

Location: Jaipur

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce QA (Quality Assurance) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Salesforce applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust solutions. As a Senior QA, you will lead the testing efforts, collaborate with developers and business analysts, and ensure that Salesforce applications meet functional, performance, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications, ensuring they meet functional and business requirements.
  • Lead the testing of new features, enhancements, and integrations in Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce platforms.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing for Salesforce applications and components, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new releases do not impact existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand technical requirements and provide feedback on issues related to system functionality and performance.
  • Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Identify, track, and document defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement automated testing scripts for repetitive testing tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices for Salesforce development.
  • Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including test results, defect status, and progress against test plans.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure testing aligns with development timelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: More than 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in Salesforce QA.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning.
  • Testing Skills:
  • Proficiency in writing and executing manual test cases for Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or Salesforce-specific tools).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce test frameworks and integration testing techniques.
  • Experience in performance testing to validate scalability and reliability of applications.
  • Tools & Technologies:
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validating data in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, Agile environment.
  • Certifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (Salesforce Admin), Salesforce Platform Developer I, or other relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • ISTQB Certification or other QA certifications are desirable.
