Andheri East, Mumbai Senior Analyst Operations Experience : 2 to 3 yrs Skills Required : Job Summary : Responsibilities Assumed: Maximizing cost recovery and preparing benefit plans. Preparing reports, memos, narratives, statistical summaries, and fiscal statements for the SVP to submit to the MD Conducting commercial Analysis for performance evaluation and decision-making support Assisting the SVP in design and performance of commercial analysis and feasibility studies Working with external consultants and experts when needed Performing secondary research to support analysis when needed Producing appropriate reports for senior management and board Identifying problems, evaluate alternatives and recommend and implement solutions Preparing analytical reports, statements, and memoranda for management presentations Budgeting and Forecasting Providing support senior management and department heads in forecasting and budgeting activity Project Coordination and Tracking Supporting project managers of key strategic projects with work flow/work stream coordination and tracking Make recommendations on proposed costs and financial/organizational impacts of costs Conducting special studies relating to resource allocation issues and their overhead costs Recommending ways to improve cost tracking methods, analysis and reporting Prerequisites: Strong numerical and analytical skill set Strong experience in accounting, financial analysis and modelling Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint Good communication skills in English and preferably in Bengali Self-starter with strong work ethic and high energy levels 2-3 years plus experience of working in large corporate or major transaction services firm Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines whilst delivering high quality and output Excellent communication (oral & written) Candidate Qualification & Experience: University Degree (BCom/MCom) Professional Accounting Certificate preferred (MBA Finance, CFA, CA, ICWA or equivalent) 2 3 years of work experience Growth Opportunity: Steep learning curve and a clearly defined career path Subsequent promotion to Associate or AVP accompanied by significant increase in responsibility and compensation Qualifications University Degree (BCom/MCom), Professional Accounting Certificate preferred (MBA Finance, CFA, CA, ICWA or equivalent)
