Project Manager

An experienced Architectural Project Manager with 10 years of expertise overseeing the full lifecycle of architectural projects, from initial concept through design, coordination, and execution to completion. Skilled in ensuring design integrity, assessing project feasibility, controlling costs, and delivering projects on time, while effectively managing multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relationships. Adept at balancing creative vision with practical execution to achieve high-quality, functional, and aesthetically compelling results.

Education

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) /

Master of Technology (M.Tech)

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning & Coordination

Lead end-to-end project lifecycle: feasibility, design development, approvals, tendering, and construction phases.

Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

Coordinate between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure seamless communication.

Conduct project kickoff and progress meetings; maintain project documentation and status reports.

  1. Design Management

Oversee conceptual and detailed design phases ensuring compliance with design intent, codes, and regulations.

Review architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy, buildability, and quality assurance.

Manage integration between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Provide design input to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

  1. Client & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government bodies, and project partners.

Manage client expectations through regular updates, presentations, and design reviews.

Negotiate contracts, scope changes, and project deliverables while maintaining profitability.

  1. Budget & Schedule Control

Prepare project cost estimates and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.

Track progress to ensure milestones are met within the project timeline.

Implement corrective measures to address delays or cost overruns.

  1. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines (LEED, IGBC, etc.).

Conduct design and site audits to maintain quality standards.

Implement risk management and quality control systems throughout project phases.

  1. Team Leadership & Mentorship

Supervise and mentor junior architects, designers, and project coordinators.

Facilitate collaboration between multidisciplinary teams.

Conduct performance reviews and foster professional development within the team.

  1. Construction & Site Coordination

Oversee coordination between design and construction teams to resolve site issues.

Conduct site inspections and review shop drawings and material submittals.

Manage change orders, RFIs, and construction documentation.
