We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team in Mumbai - Andheri (East) (on-site). This role will oversee financial accounting, compliance, and reporting, while supporting business operations and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and general ledgers.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
  • Support payroll administration and employee reimbursements.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Contribute to revenue-growth initiatives and financial efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of proven experience in a similar accounting/finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
