Job Title:Senior VDI Engineer (Omnissa Horizon / VMware EUC Specialist)Location:Bangalore / Chennai / Mumbai, IndiaExperience Required:8+ years in IT Infrastructure (minimum 4+ years in Omnissa Horizon / VMware EUC)Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilledSenior VDI Engineerwith extensive hands-on experience inOmnissa Horizon, Workspace ONE Access, DEM, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, On-Prem). The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level VDI solutions and VMware infrastructure while ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage Horizon infrastructure in large enterprise environments.Integrate and manage 3rd party IDM solutions to ensure seamless authentication and access control.Troubleshoot and support Horizon, Workspace ONE Access, DEM , and related VMware/Microsoft technologies.Create and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) , Low-Level Design (LLD) , and solution documentation.Perform log analysis and use scripting to automate operational tasks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution.Administer Windows Servers, vSphere, ESXi , and hyper-converged infrastructure .Manage network-related issues (TCP/IP, DNS, switching, routing).Participate in 24x7 operations including rotational US/UK shifts and on-call support .Mentor junior engineers and conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions.Required Skills and Experience:Primary Skills:Minimum 8 year s overall IT Infrastructure experience.Minimum 4 year s of hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon / Horizon View / VMware EU C.Expertise in enterprise VD I, Omnissa Horizon suit e, Workspace ONE Acces s, DE M, and hybrid cloud setups (AWS, Azure, On-Prem ).Solid understanding of ESXi, vSpher e, and Windows Server Administratio n.Experience with Log Analysi s and scriptin g (PowerShell, Python, or similar).Proven ability to design HLDs and LLD s for VDI environments.Strong foundation in TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing, and switchin g.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentatio n skills.Secondary Skills:Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Customer interfacing and vendor coordination experience.Team leadership and mentoring capabilities.Fluency i n English (spoken and writte n)**.Preferred Certification**- s:- VMware VCAP/VCIX (Desktop & Mobili- ty)AWS or Azure Architect Certificat- ionOmnissa Horizon Certificat- /ul>ion- Educati**- on:- BE/B.Tech/Diploma/B.Sc/MCA/MCM with IT specializa- t ionSoft Ski - lls: - Excellent communication and reporting abil - itiesStrong analytical and troubleshooting mi - ndsetProactive, self-motivated, and result-ori - entedCollaborative team p - layerWillingness to learn and adapt to emerging technol- o giesWork Sche - dule: - Rotat ional US and UK shifts (including night s - hifts)O n-call duty on a rotational- basis**
