We are looking for a detail-oriented
Shopify Inventory Manager and Excel Expert
to handle large-scale product catalogs, inventory accuracy, and vendor cost analysis. The role requires strong Excel skills and the ability to compare multiple vendor cost lists with current inventory to ensure we source at the best possible price.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bulk product uploads/updates in Shopify via Excel (CSV/XLSX).
  • Maintain accurate product listings including descriptions, images, tags, categories, and variants.
  • Compare
    multiple vendor price lists
    against current inventory to identify best sourcing options.
  • Track and update
    cost price, selling price, and profit margins
    in Shopify.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and correct discrepancies.
  • Optimize product data for SEO and user experience.
  • Generate and analyze Excel reports for inventory forecasting, cost comparisons, and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and marketing teams to streamline product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing
    Shopify product catalogs and inventory.
  • Advanced skills in
    Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, automation).
  • Ability to
    analyze vendor cost lists
    and integrate findings with Shopify product data.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of
    eCommerce SEO and pricing strategies.
  • Independent worker with problem-solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Shopify apps/tools like
    DataFeedWatch, GoDataFeed, or Channable.
  • Familiarity with inventory forecasting and vendor negotiation.
  • Prior experience in eCommerce procurement or supply chain.
