About the Role

We are seeking a
Junior Video Editor
with a passion for visual storytelling and creative editing. The role will support our
branding team
in delivering engaging video content across school and brand platforms. The candidate should have basic editing skills, a creative eye, and a willingness to learn advanced production and AI-driven editing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in editing
    school activity videos
    (footage provided by campus).
  • Support editing of
    podcasts
    and create short-form content like reels and shorts.
  • Organize and maintain raw video assets, project files, and archives.
  • Add captions, transitions, basic graphics, and music to enhance videos.
  • Work with the senior editor on larger projects and follow creative direction.
  • Stay updated on current video trends and social media formats.

  • Timely delivery of edited school activity videos.
  • Consistent support in podcast edits and short-form content creation.
  • Creative input in enhancing video storytelling and presentation.

  • Delivery of
    all assigned edits within deadlines

    quality and consistency
    of edits as per brand guidelines.
  • Contribution to
    social media-ready videos
    that perform well on engagement.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in
    video editing
    .
  • Familiarity with editing software like
    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    audio editing and color correction
    .
  • Understanding of
    social media formats (Reels, Shorts, Stories, etc.)
    .
  • Hands-on exposure or interest in
    AI tools
    such as
    Runway, Pika Labs, Descript, Topaz, Adobe Firefly
    .
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior editors.
