Position Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented
Junior Video Editor and Animator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in editing video content, creating engaging animations, and supporting the production team in delivering high-quality visual outputs across branding, advertising, social media, and corporate projects.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong passion for storytelling, motion graphics, and visual communication, eager to grow within a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

  • Edit raw video footage into polished final versions for marketing, social media, corporate films, and other communication needs.
  • Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and transitions to enhance the overall quality.
  • Ensure videos are aligned with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.

Animation & Motion Graphics

  • Design and animate motion graphics for explainer videos, social media creatives, presentations, and ads.
  • Create simple 2D/3D animations, titles, and lower thirds.
  • Assist senior animators in developing more complex animation sequences.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative directors, graphic designers, and copywriters to ensure storytelling consistency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to manage deadlines and project deliverables.

Quality Control & Innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest editing and animation trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Experiment with creative styles and bring fresh ideas to projects.
  • Review outputs to ensure smooth rendering, correct aspect ratios, and high production quality.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    and
    After Effects
    (knowledge of Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of
    Photoshop/Illustrator
    for asset creation.
  • Familiarity with
    motion graphics, typography animation, and visual storytelling
    .
  • Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to take feedback and implement revisions quickly.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Film, Animation, Multimedia, Design, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 0–2 years of experience in video editing or animation (internship or freelance experience acceptable).
  • A portfolio/showreel showcasing editing and animation work is required.
