Senior Generative AI Developer

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Remote

Shift: Flexible (Anytime between 11 AM to 11 PM IST)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Generative AI Developer to lead the design and development of cutting-edge AI applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in LLMs, NLP, RAG architectures, and Generative AI frameworks, along with strong hands-on skills in Python and cloud-based deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications leveraging LLMs and RAG frameworks.
  • Implement and fine-tune machine learning and NLP models for diverse use cases.
  • Build, integrate, and optimize scalable APIs (FastAPI preferred).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-grade AI solutions.
  • Manage data pipelines, vector databases, and model lifecycle from training to monitoring.
  • Stay updated on advancements in generative AI, frameworks, and open-source tools.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years in machine learning.
  • Strong foundation in NLP, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
  • Proven experience with RAG, vector databases (Weaviate, Pinecone), and LLM-based applications (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
  • Hands-on expertise in Python, prompt engineering, and LangChain/HuggingFace.
  • Experience deploying and scaling LLMs in production.
  • Proficient with Git, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative development practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; fluent in English.
  • Flexible to occasionally overlap with US Eastern Time zones.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with open-source LLMs (Llama, Mistral).
  • Exposure to regulated industries like healthcare or banking.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, FastAPI, JavaScript frameworks, and microservice architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Azure Event Hub).
  • Agile methodology experience (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
