Manufacturing Business Analyst

Our site in Pune, India is seeking a Manufacturing Business Analyst that will serve as a strategic partner between manufacturing operations and technology teams. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and translating business needs into functional and technical requirements that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and scalability across global manufacturing sites. This role plays a critical part in driving digital transformation initiatives, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and system capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, engineering, quality, and IT—to gather and document business requirements for manufacturing systems and processes.
• Analyze current manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system integration.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), ERP, LIMS, SPC and other manufacturing technologies.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of manufacturing systems, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Lead or support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new tools and processes.
• Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and resolve operational issues.
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage system upgrades, integrations, and lifecycle planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) in all system-related activities.

What We Seek:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing systems administration, business analysis, or application support in a manufacturing or laboratory environment. Experience with preferred platforms is a plus.
• Deep understanding of MES and other manufacturing platforms and their role in supporting manufacturing workflows, data integrity, and compliance.
• Experience with global system governance, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
• Experience with system validation, change control, and documentation in a regulated environment.
