Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Commis 1 to join our kitchen team in Itanagar. As a Commis 1, you will support the Chef de Partie and kitchen team in preparing high-quality food, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes as per the instructions of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and at your workstation.
• Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications as directed.
• Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Work in various sections of the kitchen as needed (e.g., hot, cold, pastry, etc.).
• Support the team in mise en place, portion control, and food prep for service.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and follow all instructions.
• Minimize wastage and assist in controlling food cost.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen; hotel or restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.

Preferred:

• Experience in Indian or Continental cuisine.

Pay: ₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
