Celonis Garage operates as an independent research and development unit within Celonis, dedicated to pioneering new business models, exploring emerging technologies, and developing prototypes that enhance the Celonis platform. Our team drives customer co-innovations, scales breakthrough solutions, and pushes the boundaries of process intelligence. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced team at Celonis Garage

The Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance applications. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving cloud technologies, AI-driven solutions (including Generative AI), and modern web frameworks. This is an opportunity to collaborate with top engineers, leverage the latest advancements in AI, and independently drive high-impact projects.

The work you'll do:

• Innovate beyond existing solutions by building and deploying new ideas that extend Celonis capabilities.
• Design and develop scalable and maintainable frontend and backend systems.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
• Implement and improve testing strategies to ensure high-quality software.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to create efficient and user-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate Generative AI (GenAI) and LangChain-based solutions into our applications.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies in cloud computing, AI, and web development to drive innovation.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions, research potential solutions, and transform ideas into reality.

The qualifications you need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in backend, frontend, or fullstack engineering.
• Proven experience in Python, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
• Hands-on expertise with and its ecosystem.
• Proficiency in Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing solutions and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Experience with modern software development workflows (Git strategy, CI/CD, automated testing).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
