Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tea procurement through Kolkata auctions and international buying channels.

  • Source and evaluate teas from international markets, ensuring alignment with company requirements.
  • Provide inputs on market trends, pricing, and availability to support procurement planning
  • Maintain strong relationships with brokers, auctioneers, and international suppliers.
  • Support blending and R&D teams with technical expertise on teas from different origins.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procurement policies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5years of relevant experience in tea tasting, auction buying, and international exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian and international tea grades, origins, and markets.
  • Skilled in tasting, grading, and selection with an eye for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
