Job Summary:

The Senior Production Supervisor will oversee and manage the production of interior design furniture, fixtures, and fit-out elements. This role ensures smooth workflow, high-quality output, timely delivery, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires hands-on supervision, team leadership, and coordination with design and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily production activities in the factory/workshop for interior and furniture projects.
  • Allocate work to carpenters, fabricators, painters, polishers, and other technicians.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of client orders.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with design, purchase, and project/site teams for smooth execution.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance to workers.
  • Maintain production records, material usage reports, and daily progress updates.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and raw materials with minimal wastage.
  • Implement safety practices and maintain a clean, organized production floor.
  • Train and mentor junior supervisors and production staff.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of interior/furniture production processes (modular furniture, carpentry, finishing, polishing, metal & glass work).
  • Ability to read and interpret interior design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of material handling, production workflow, and quality control practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/production management software is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in production supervision within the interior design / furniture / fit-out industry.
  • Prior experience in managing factory operations and leading production teams is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Based at the factory/production unit with regular interaction with site/project teams.
  • Requires ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹50,000.00 per month
