Reporting Manager: Senior Manager - Commercial   

Business/ Function:  Commercial

Purpose:  SPN is looking for an experienced Manager having strong domain expertise in marketing procurement who will own, drive, manage and execute delivery of strategic commercial and procurement programs and activities that advance SPN's business, brand, policy, and cost goals & objectives. The person will be responsible for managing external & internal stakeholder's expectations & relations.

Education: Postgraduate / MBA

Experience:  8-10 years in a commercial role for Commercial management of marketing contracts

Must be Adept at:

• Budget management
• Thorough understanding of Media Planning and buying.
• Negotiation & building professional relationship.
• Creating fresh strategies for network buying.
• Team leadership
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Vendor sourcing IT systems knowledge (S4 HANA, SAP etc.)

 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive cost negotiation with producers and service providers across the network for- OAP, Sports
• Partner with Business & Finance on OI delivery.
• Budget Forecasting & Spends Management (Sports).
• Visibility on sports property-wise P&L.
• Partner with business and monitor Content Supply Chain pipeline against planned calendar.
• Ensure timely delivery of shows (Highlight risks, Realtime updates - contracts, shoot.)
• Ensuring high quality production value
• Focus on ensuring maximum Compliance and processes. Strengthen existing controls wherever applicable

Competencies and Proficiency:

• Experience of working with MNCs and in-depth experience of driving commercial strategies
• Executive presence, with the capability to build credibility and gain trust and respect with the stakeholders along with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
• They should have an entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active attitude, be self-driven and detail oriented, possess excellent business judgment and have a keen eye for value along with great networking skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to interpret business requirements.
• Bright, quick, articulate, good interpersonal skills and able to adapt to different internal and external constituencies.
• Viewed as a team leader who also possesses the independence of thought and opinion to provide candor and honest feedback when making key business decisions.
