JOB PURPOSE

A Quality Analyst in Accounts Receivable within US healthcare helps ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the revenue cycle.

Should have worked as a Quality Auditor for AR for at least 1 year with medical billing service providers

Certifications (If Any)

Essential Skills / Aptitude:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Quality Controller in Accounts Receivable (AR) with a recognized medical billing service provider; alternatively, a total of 5 years of relevant experience in medical billing, even if QA responsibilities are not formally documented.
  • Strong command of medical billing concepts and confident understanding of end-to-end process workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including AR calling and audit procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to evolving operational challenges and dynamic client requirements.
  • Commitment to adhering to all organizational policies, compliance standards, and procedural guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Good and expertise knowledge in RCM, Denials, and AR process.
  • Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with AR specialists, billing teams, and to address audit findings and implement solutions.
  • Review the work performed by AR team and document any quality issues.
  • Review call quality issues on various parameters such as conversational skills, claims resolution, and voice quality.
  • Check the reports developed by AR callers - aging analysis, understand days in A/R, top reasons for denials, etc.
