Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated accountant to join our mid-level team at Peoples Cooperative Society Ltd. This full-time position is based in Vijayawada, and requires a candidate with a maximum of 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in QuickBooks, Excel, and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications and Skills( Tally, Accounting, BRS, TDS & IT Returns)

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient financial management (Mandatory skill).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in preparing detailed financial reports and forecasts (Mandatory skill).
  • Must possess experience in using SAP for integrated financial processes.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financials to streamline financial operations.
  • Understanding of GAAP to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Solid background in tax compliance for accurate financial documentation.
  • Competent in data analysis to enhance financial decision-making processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and counsel.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
