Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Configure and optimize Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging.
  • Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.
  • Implement and manage API Gateways for secure and efficient API management.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.
  • Ensure system security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and security issues.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud-native and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
  • Strong experience with Platform upgrades and patch management
  • Expertise in Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and high availability.
  • Experience working with API Gateways (Azure API Management, Kong, or similar tools).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline development (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience with Helm, Terraform, or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
