We Zeppelin Systems India Ltd., German Based Company, Vadodara in to Engineering Designing is looking for Mechanical QC Lead at Dahej, Gujarat on Third Party Contract for a period of 24 months/till client requirement. Having 15 years of experience in Hydrocarbon Sector preferably in EPC/LSTK Projects and familiar with the relevant code (ASME SEC IX, ASME B31.3, API 650) requirements.

Job Description:

Title: Mechanical QC Lead

Contract: Third Party Contract

Duration: 24 months/till client requirement

Location: Dahej, Gujarat

Qualifications and required skills:

  • Diploma or Degree from Respective Discipline (Mechanical Engineering) having minimum 15 years of experience in Hydrocarbon Sector preferably in EPC/LSTK/PMC Projects.
  • Familiar with the relevant code (ASME SEC IX, ASME B31.3, API 650) requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for Mechanical & Civil works.
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications, codes.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors on quality matters.
  • Supervise and conduct site inspections.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test results, NCRs and quality records.
  • Maintain Material Approval Records (MAR), Method Statements (MS), and Request for Inspection (RFI) logs.
  • Ensure as-built documentation is accurate and complete
  • Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align quality objectives.
  • Ensure that all quality documents, certificates, and records are compiled for final submission.
  • Experience in API 650 requirements, radiography test procedure and acceptance criteria.
