Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities across OSD & SVP facilities.
  • Ensure optimal uptime of plant equipment, utilities (HVAC, Purified Water System, AHUs, Compressors, Boilers, DG Sets, etc.), production machinery & cleanrooms.
  • Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment/utilities.
  • Develop, implement and monitor SOPs, maintenance logs, equipment history, calibration schedules, and spare inventory.
  • Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and projects teams for timely support and adherence to cGMP norms.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards USFDA, WHO, MHRA, EU, etc., during audits & inspections.
  • Drive energy conservation initiatives, engineering CAPEX projects, plant modifications, and continual improvement.
  • Manage engineering documentation URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, change controls, deviation, & CAPA related to equipment and utilities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, electricians, technicians, and contractors; ensure safety work permits & training.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical utilities and production equipment.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines & qualification lifecycle.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication & team management.
  • Planning, troubleshooting & decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
