Manager - Engg. & Maintenance (Pharmaceutical OSD & SVP)

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities across OSD & SVP facilities.
- Ensure optimal uptime of plant equipment, utilities (HVAC, Purified Water System, AHUs, Compressors, Boilers, DG Sets, etc.), production machinery & cleanrooms.
- Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment/utilities.
- Develop, implement and monitor SOPs, maintenance logs, equipment history, calibration schedules, and spare inventory.
- Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and projects teams for timely support and adherence to cGMP norms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards USFDA, WHO, MHRA, EU, etc., during audits & inspections.
- Drive energy conservation initiatives, engineering CAPEX projects, plant modifications, and continual improvement.
- Manage engineering documentation URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, change controls, deviation, & CAPA related to equipment and utilities.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, electricians, technicians, and contractors; ensure safety work permits & training.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical utilities and production equipment.
- Knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines & qualification lifecycle.
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication & team management.
- Planning, troubleshooting & decision-making skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
