Job Description

Fire Safety Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.

  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.

  3. Inspect, maintain, and ensure the proper functioning of fire safety equipment.

  4. Train employees on fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.

  5. Investigate accidents, fire incidents, and near-misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.

  6. Maintain accurate safety records and documentation in compliance with regulations.

  7. Monitor adherence to fire safety regulations and standards.

  8. Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across the organization.

  9. Collaborate with management and relevant departments to ensure a safe environment.

Security – Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Patrol and monitor the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or fire hazards.

  2. Secure and safeguard valuable assets in designated secure areas.

  3. Protect company property and personnel from theft, assault, fire, and other threats.

  4. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.

  5. Report and communicate any irregularities, safety concerns, or suspicious behavior to management.

  6. Maintain detailed records of incidents and daily activities in a logbook or report.

  7. Monitor and control access by checking in and out all visitors.

  8. Escort visitors within the premises as required.

  9. Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations, including those mandated by the government.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: Diploma / Certification in Fire & Safety
  • Age: Below 50 years
  • Experience: 5–7 years (Hospital experience preferred)
