Full job description

Patrolling:

  • Regularly patrol hospital buildings, wards, corridors, and parking areas.
  • Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are properly locked after hours.
  • Report any unusual activity, damage, or safety hazards.

Safety and Emergency Response

  • Respond immediately to alarms or emergency calls.
  • Help during fire drills, evacuations, or medical emergencies.
  • Report accidents, thefts, or disturbances to the security officer or supervisor.
  • Help maintain calm during emergencies.

Property Protection

  • Prevent theft or damage to hospital equipment, vehicles, and materials.
  • Check movement of goods and verify gate passes for items going out.
  • Monitor storage areas like pharmacies and supply rooms when required.

Record Keeping

  • Maintain a logbook of all incidents, visitors, and vehicle entries.
  • Record shift handover details properly.
  • Report any missing or damaged property immediately.

Appearance and Conduct

  • Wear proper uniform and display ID at all times.
  • Be alert, disciplined, and respectful to everyone.
  • Avoid sleeping, smoking, or using mobile phones while on duty
