Job Description-

Assist with preparing State and local tax returns corporate and partnership tax returns

Assist with preparing State Sales Use Tax filings verifying taxability using inhouse and web based research tools maintaining tax rates and reconciling related accounts across multiple jurisdictions

Assist with preparing Property Tax Annual reports and other Sate and Local indirect tax filings

Maintain Payment log internal team calendar check requests and communicate on an intercompany basis

Maintain records of team generated researched related to tax laws and regulations to support compliance and planning initiatives

Adhere to the implementation of tax strategies that align with business objectives

Adapt to changes in tax legislation and communicated potential impacts to management

Support team members to collaborate with external tax advisors and internal departments to ensure accurate filings and efficient workflow

Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives in the tax function

Support audits and yearend financial audits ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations while enhancing reporting accuracy
