JOB TITLE: RESIDENT ENGINER- CABLE STAYED BRIDGE (Versova, Mumbai Pro.)-PG Mandatory

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly experienced RESIDENT ENGINER to lead the ongoing Mumbai Coastal Road Project (Versova to Dahisar stretch). The incumbent will assist PD to complete project execution from planning, design coordination, and construction supervision to contract administration, quality control, and financial management.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION: Bachelors Degree in civil Engineering preferably with Postgraduate Degree/ Masters in Transportation/ Structures/ Geotechnical/ Mechanical/ Electrical engineering/ Construction Management.

EXPERIENCE: Should have minimum Professional Experience 15 years. Should have minimum 10 years relevant experience in similar capacity at least 3 projects (as Resident Engineer) in transportation in Cable Stay Bridge/ Bridge over Sea or river or creek/ elevated road in high-density traffic areas/ Metro/ Railway bridge.

Single project costing not less than INR 5000 million

OR

Two Projects costing not less than INR 3300 million

Or

Three Projects costing not less than INR 2500 million

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will provide strategic support to multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project delivery within cost, time, and quality parameters. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering designs, monitoring progress, managing stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and resolving technical or contractual issues efficiently.

He will serve as the principal liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication, risk mitigation, and adherence to contractual obligations. Leadership, decision-making ability, and deep technical expertise in bridge and highway projects are essential.
