Business Development Executive

Role Overview:

We're seeking a proactive, results-driven Business Development Executive who can independently manage the entire business development and sales process—from lead generation and client communication to closing deals and managing partnerships. You'll work across major freelance platforms, handle B2B sales, and drive outreach through email marketing and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Freelance Platform Management Create, optimize, and update company profiles and service listings across Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.
  • Monitor inquiries and project invitations, respond promptly, and write compelling proposals.
  • Qualify leads and close deals through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Email Marketing & Lead Generation Build and manage targeted email lists for outreach campaigns.
  • Create engaging email sequences for cold outreach, nurturing leads, and re-engagement.
  • Track campaign performance and optimize for higher conversions.
  • B2B Partnerships & Collaboration Identify potential B2B partners, initiate contact, and develop relationships for white-label and joint-venture opportunities.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements.
  • Maintain ongoing partner relationships for cross-selling and upselling.
  • End-to-End Sales Process Handle all sales stages—from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Prepare and send detailed offers, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Manage after-sales support, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Client & Project Management Gather detailed project requirements and communicate clearly with the internal team.
  • Oversee project milestones, updates, and deadlines.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client communication, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, emails, and sales activities.
  • Analyze sales data to improve strategies and conversion rates.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements and new opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years' experience in business development, sales, or client management (preferably with IT or digital agencies).
  • Hands-on experience with Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or similar platforms.
  • Strong skills in email marketing tools (Mailchimp ,Sendinblue etc.).
  • Proven record of successful B2B partnerships and client acquisition.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; great communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Basic knowledge of web services, digital marketing, and agency workflow.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, HubSpot).
  • Previous agency or startup experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to communicate with global clients.
