
Automation Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Automation Manager to lead our automation team and oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of automated systems across production and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of automation technologies, and the ability to drive innovation while ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the company's automation strategy in line with business goals.
• Lead and manage a team of automation engineers and technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across automation systems.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions

• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation initiatives with operational needs.
• Ensure reliable and efficient operation of all automated systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement upgrades where necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level automation issues.
• Ensure adherence to industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments for new automation projects

• Mentor, train, and upskill team members.
• Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications & Skills
:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in industrial automation, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading automation projects in manufacturing or process industries.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotics, and industrial networking.
• Knowledge of IoT, Industry 4.0, AI-based automation, and smart manufacturing solutions.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Percentage reduction in production downtime due to automation.
• Cost savings achieved through automation initiatives.
• Successful completion of automation projects within timelines and budgets.
• Improvement in operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• Employee development and retention within the automation team.
Salary Range:
