Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and complete Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits independently.
  • Supervise, review, and ensure accuracy in all audit documentation and working papers.
  • Handle Finalisation of Accounts and ensure timely closure of books.
  • Prepare Financial Statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Notes to Accounts, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee Income Tax Return Filing and ensure compliance with direct tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review Project Reports, Cash Flow Statements, and Financial Projections for clients and funding purposes.
  • Manage client communications regarding audit observations, compliance matters, and financial performance.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing, Companies Act, GST, and Income Tax laws.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Train and guide junior staff members, ensuring consistency in quality and professional conduct.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end client service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of amendments and developments in accounting, auditing, and taxation laws.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS, Companies Act, and Tax Regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting or audit tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to multitask and deliver within tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.

Preferred Profile:

  • Semi Qualified CA / CMA with 2-3 years of experience in Audit, Accounts Finalisation, and Taxation.
  • Prior experience in a CA Firm or Professional Services Firm managing multiple audits and financial reporting assignments.
  • Exposure to Private Limited Companies, LLPs, Startups, and MSMEs preferred.
