As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage and optimize our procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and materials.

Job Summary

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing purchase orders, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills, preferably with experience in the retail or FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for goods and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Track and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Maintain updated records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing data.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and analyze pricing trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and quality standards.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams for payment processing and supplier evaluation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (experience in retail or FMCG is an advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
