Responsibilities

1. Develop and up gradation of QA requirements, SFQPs and protocols of Equipment's for all Renewable projects with specific requirements of HV/LV Panels, Earthing System. Switchyard equipments, Power Transformers and Distribution Transformers, Inverters, Illumination system.
2. Preparing the lessons learnt by project wise and up gradation of SFQP and Protocols.
3. Ensure Field inspections are performed at the site as per SFQP to meet project execution plan.
4. Guidance is given to FQA Team for timely performing their Tasks.
5. Timely Resolving Quality issues during construction of the equipment.
6. Ensuring the timely closure of NC's observed in the inspection as per SOP.
7. Reviewing performance of the team.
8. Providing quality inputs for preparing the Risk mitigation plan.
9. Co-ordination with Internal and External customers for timely completion of all FQA Inspection activities.
10. Review and timely approval of various quality reports wherever required.
11. Ensure inspection either through nominated Inspection Agency (TPIA) or by utilizing the services of own Employees, depending on specific situation in order to minimize cost.
12. Identifying the Continual improvement projects whenever required.
13. Carryout vendor assessment of contractors for all renewable projects, as and when assigned, and submission of Visit Report.
14. Conduct site visit at the initial stage of construction for reviewing compliance of all quality requirements as per SFQP and setting up of standard processes as per Department SOP, SFQP, and standard guidelines.
15. To Carry out Construction/ store audit as and when assigned & submission of Audit Report in proper format as per Departmental SOP.
16. Ensure timely disposal of Non Conformity observed during inspection of materials as well as site audits per laid down procedure for all the packages under all renewable projects.
17. Review of MIS data received from site, compiling and preparation of MIS in SAP online module.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.E./ B.Tech- Mechanical
