About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer Earthworks & Execution to manage and supervise site activities related to excavation, backfilling, leveling, and compaction works. The role involves direct site execution, coordination with teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of earthwork and related civil activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and supervise earthworks, excavation, filling, backfilling, and compaction as per project drawings and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with surveyors for levels, alignments, and layout marking.
  • Plan and monitor daily site progress, manpower deployment, and equipment usage.
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance by checking soil suitability, compaction results, and field test reports.
  • Supervise site supervisors, operators, and subcontractors for effective and safe execution.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, manpower and machinery logs, and material records.
  • Coordinate with Project Engineers/Managers for inspections, approvals, and resolving technical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards at site.
  • Support in preparing work schedules, material requirements, and billing inputs.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in earthworks, excavation, backfilling, and site execution.
  • Knowledge of soil mechanics, compaction methods, and geotechnical aspects.
  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or power/refinery projects preferred.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple site activities independently.

Preferred Profile

  • Experience in EPC / Construction of Power Plants / Industrial Plants / Large-scale industrial / infrastructure projects.
  • Familiar with survey instruments and IS codes for earthworks and compaction.
  • Local language communication will be an added advantage.
