Key responsibilities

  • Leadership and management: Hire, train, motivate, and manage the sales team, setting performance standards and conducting performance reviews.
  • Sales strategy: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Sales operations: Manage the daily operations of the used car department, including inventory acquisition, merchandising, and ensuring high-quality vehicle delivery.
  • Customer relations: Maintain customer relationships, handle complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Reporting and forecasting: Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts for upper management, monitoring key performance metrics.
  • Financial management: Prepare and manage the department's budget, and control expenditures.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience as a used car sales manager or in a similar automotive sales role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience with sales management software and tools like Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is often required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,094.88 per month
