The Role: Drive National Sales Strategy
As the National Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales success across India. You will take the lead in developing and executing national sales strategies, fostering key executive-level relationships, and ensuring our brand maintains a powerful presence in the market. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing and mentoring our regional sales teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement robust national sales strategies, annual forecasts, and business plans to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales targets.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales teams across India, focusing on performance management and professional development. Experience leading sales teams is required.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and stakeholders.
Market Growth: Identify new opportunities for growth, organize and participate in trade shows, and enhance brand visibility nationwide.
Operational Excellence: Collaborate with regional managers on critical areas like pricing, territory management, inventory planning, and identifying opportunities for process efficiency.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Experience: Proven ability in strategic sales planning and hands-on execution across a national level.
Leadership: Strong team leadership, performance management, and the ability to attract, hire, and develop high-potential sales talent across diverse regions.
FMCG Expertise: Deep understanding of FMCG market trends, consumer behavior, and proficiency in forecasting, sales planning, and revenue management.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Bonus: Knowledge of the traditional consumer goods/incense industry is a strong advantage.
Other: Multilingual skills and strong computer literacy are essential.
