Job Description SummaryGraduate Engineer trainee is responsible for providing manufacturing and/or engineering process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. Responsible for the development, implementation, improvement, and continuous reinforcement that are utilized in the local business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.

  • Participate & Drive LEAN initiatives for process improvements.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and product cycles.

  • Maintain the manufacturing engineering system on part routing and standards.

  • Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI's and for process improvements.

  • Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.

  • Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.

  • Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance.

  • Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships.

  • Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area

Required Qualifications

  •   Fresh Graduates or up to One year of relevant experience.
