Our flagship product, the IXanner OCT, and its upcoming Version 2, combine advanced optics, precision engineering, and electronics to deliver portable, high-performance eye imaging solutions.

We are seeking a Project Trainee in Optoelectronics Production who is eager to learn the process of building advanced imaging devices. This role offers a structured 3-month training program, leading to a full-time Production Engineer position based on performance.

Role Overview

You will work closely with the production and R&D teams to assemble, align, and test optical and electronic sub-systems of OCT devices.

The role requires patience, accuracy, and strong technical curiosity — ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, precision-based engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in assembling and aligning optical, mechanical, and electronic sub-assemblies
  • Support fiber coupling, interferometer alignment, and optical calibration activities
  • Conduct basic testing, signal validation, and component inspection
  • Maintain detailed assembly records and test documentation
  • Follow ESD-safe and clean manufacturing practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of assembly processes

Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in
    Electronics, Optoelectronics, Instrumentation, or Physics
  • Interest or basic exposure to optics, lasers, or precision instruments
  • Hands-on familiarity with lab tools, soldering, or optical setups is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, discipline, and a willingness to learn by doing
  • Good communication and documentation habits
