Role Summary: The IT Vendor Management Sr Specialist is responsible for the operational management of third-party technology vendors and platforms. This role ensures seamless day-to-day operations, maintains up-to-date documentation and contracts, supports internal ticket management, and drives solution implementation across multiple business functions. Requires strong cross-functional collaboration and influence.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, vendor management, or a related function.
  • Proven ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of vendor contracts, compliance basics, and IT support processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
  • Experience with service ticketing platforms and project tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal ticketing workflows related to third-party platforms and vendor-supported applications.
  • Ensure that vendor documentation, contracts, and compliance materials are current and accessible.
  • Monitor contract expiration timelines and coordinate renewals or transitions to avoid service disruptions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and vendors to ensure service delivery meets business expectations.
  • Lead vendor negotiations to optimize contract terms, reduce costs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align vendor practices with company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and propose actionable solutions.
  • Support the rollout of new vendor-related initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders across departments.
  • Provide visibility to leadership regarding vendor performance, issues, and project updates.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with IT procurement or sourcing processes.
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms and vendor-supported tools.
  • Understanding of basic information security concepts (no technical expertise required).
  • Exposure to AI-based tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience in a technology-driven company or IT services environment.
