The Opportunity

As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Docsumo, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Document AI platform. You will be at the intersection of technical innovation and market needs, working closely with our CTO. This position offers a clear path to growth, with the opportunity to progress into the Director of Product role.

Key Responsibilities1. Drive Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to uncover opportunities for technical innovation.

• Develop a data-driven product roadmap that aligns technical capabilities with market demands.

• Own Technical Product Development

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for the engineering team.

• Create comprehensive PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) with clear acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Assess technical feasibility and collaborate with architects to design scalable solutions.
• Lead sprint planning sessions and daily standups, ensuring real-time prioritization.

• Establish clear technical success metrics for each feature release.

• Conduct User Research & Testing

• Design A/B tests to validate technical hypotheses before full deployment.

• Implement tracking tools to gather granular usage data for feature optimization.
• Conduct technical user interviews to identify pain points in the document processing workflow.

• Create data visualization dashboards to monitor system performance and user adoption.

• Build & Lead a Team

• Hire and mentor junior product managers with technical expertise.

• Establish best practices for technical product management within the organization.
• Create frameworks for gathering and prioritizing technical requirements.
• Develop an OKR (Objectives and Key Results) system for the product team aligned with engineering capabilities.

Technical Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years in product management with a strong technical background.
• Knowledge of LLMs (Large Language Models): Understanding their capabilities, limitations, and implementation strategies.
• Expertise in Document Processing: Familiarity with OCR, NLP, or related solutions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and product metrics tracking.
• Machine Learning: Understanding of ML concepts and model evaluation metrics.
• Product Analytics Tools: Experience with platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.
• API Design & Architecture: Familiarity with RESTful architecture and API design principles.
• Agile Methodology: Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Asana.
